Full Bio
After leaving Barnard, Katherine Brewster spent a decade in her hometown of Albany, NY., managing non-profit arts, education and community service organizations. In 1978 she earned her MBA from Columbia University Business School.



From 1978-1994, she developed, marketed and sold new financial service products at Citibank, and worked as an independent marketing and sales consultant to small and emerging businesses in the NYC area. In 1994 she shifted into the health and wellness field. Katherine founded and directs THE ATMA Center of Transformational Yoga through which she offers a range of yoga therapies for physical and emotional wellbeing to individuals and corporations.



Katherine is the driving force for creating the NYS not for profit company, 501(c)3, BC Voices, Inc., to create the oral history of the Barnard Class of 1971 and tell the compelling story of what it was like to come of age during the tumultuous 1960s and the impact these seismic shifts have had on their lives since and the women
