Jennifer Betit Yen plays the role of Aimee Kamoe on NBC's New Amsterdam and can also be seen on The Flight Attendant (HBO Max), among other shows. She will soon be appearing as Lisa on Nora from Queens with Awkwafina. The NYC Mayor named a day after Jen in recognition of her acting and activism work to create gender and racial parity in entertainment. She runs the Film Lab, a non profit that coordinates the annual global 72 Hour Shootout filmmaking competition to promote and provide a platform and a voice to those too often underrepresented by mainstream media. In her free time, she enjoys fine vegan dining with her husband and running with her beloved rescue mutt.
