˝Born a musician, Valerie studied classical piano for seventeen years. She earned a BA in Music, French and Education in 1969 from Cornell College, IA. She produced her first album that year. She continued to perform her music professionally throughout her teaching years.



She has composed hundreds of songs, and joined ASCAP in 1987. She founded VALPRO Studios in the early 1990's and produced several albums in that decade. She has produced several more albums since moving to Tennessee. Her Broadway-style musical FEARLESS! staged in July 2016 and was the precursor to the film LOVE IS... which is now in development. Meadowlark Film Productions is her business for the film industry.



Valerie is a member of the Nashville Composers Association, a Board member for Nashville Women in Film & Television, and member of Women Film & Television International, and Women in Film and Media.



From 2018 - 2020, Valerie authored the screenplay, composed all the songs with full orchestrations and recorded the demos for
