Sales Development Representative

Mediaocean, NYC/Chicago

Responsibilities will include:​


Represent Mediaocean’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of how our solutions meet needs (you will be trained on this)

Lead initial conversation with inbound leads to qualify them, and engage account executives for next steps

Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects, leading outreach campaigns and finding new potential sales outlets

Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and work collaboratively with account executives to pass on qualified leads who have urgency to buy

Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook

Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results


Candidate Requirements

Who You Are:​​

Bachelor's degree required

Experience in the media and advertising a major plus

1-3 years of professional work experience preferred

Experience with lead generation and cold-calling a plus

Manage multiple projects independently

Excellent written and oral communication skills required

Organizational skills are a must

Strong attention to detail, motivation, and self-initiative

Strong interpersonal skills

Must work collaboratively with internal teams

Preferably can work out of our Chicago or NY office
