Theatrical Distribution Accounting Intern (Remote)

Responsibilities

• The A24 Theatrical Distribution Accounting Intern will learn first-hand about the process of releasing a film into theaters. They will be expected to assist at all stages of the release, but their main tasks will be within, but not limited to, the following four areas:
  
• Accounting: Assist in the accounts receivable process and apply payments
  
• Invoicing: Process and send statements while developing effective client relationships
  
• Box Office Tracking: Collect theatrical grosses from theaters and input reports
  
• Research: Monitor trends and document weekly updates within the theatrical landscape
  

Qualifications

• A finger on the pulse of the ever-evolving entertainment industry, and an interest in learning more about theatrical accounts receivables
  
• A passion for numbers and film, attention to detail and strong Excel skills
  
• Adaptable, quick to grasp new softwares and systems
  
• A familiarity with the A24 brand, and knowledge of upcoming Spring/Summer releases
  
• A background in accounting or AR/AP is preferred but not required

Our internships are part-time roles with an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual pay will depend on various considerations, including: education, experience, skills, specializations, training, and business needs.
