Editing/Rough Cut Workshop

We all know how incredibly important it is to get feedback while editing. We’d meet once a week on Zoom for an hour or so and would workshop one rough cut that we had all watched prior and then spend 30 min? discussing it: first going around and saying what really works and then going around again and giving specific suggestions that could improve it or what’s not quite clear etc. The filmmaker just listens, does not explain or talk. If they have questions to the group, we’d answer them. In the remaining 30 min or so, we may screen short (1-2 min) “studies” on a given subject (revealing character through setting, prop, dialogue etc.), to keep everyone getting something useful each week. We are thinking 6 participant’s?
