Video Intern (Paid, Spring 2019)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  


Edit high quality and detailed BAM performance recordings for the BAM archives.

Maintain our servers with detailed and organized file management.

Support the video team by helping maintain our equipment and project management system.

Editing BAM performance recordings for the archives. 

Assisting in digital asset management: logging, transcribing and organizing video footage 

Assist with production during video and photo shoots 

Assist with equipment maintenance 

Data entry and file organization 

Assist with video editing and shooting for our social media team


Minimum Qualifications


Availability at least 3 days a week (flexible on which days), maximum 25 hrs/week

Mac literacy with proficiency in creative technologies, including familiarity with the latest Adobe Creative Suite.

Currently pursuing a degree in Video Production or related field (preferably a junior or senior) or recent graduate

Ability to lift and move audio/visual equipment weighing up to 25 pounds

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Great communication skills - both with internal teams and communicating with/presenting to clients

Extremely detailed oriented with an interest in video production

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Valid US driver’s license



Preferred Qualifications


An interest in the performing arts 

Passion for editing, editing, and re-editing until reaching the perfect edit. 

Stay current with the latest video trends, always learning new technology and creative tools. 

Great sense of humor.

Pay Rate: $16 - $17.50 per hour, depending on education/experience level.
