Girls Write Now

Looking to support a young writer while sparking your own creativity? Become a Fall Cycle Mentor at Girls Write Now (GWN)!

GWN Mentors are writers, media makers, and professionals across industries ages 25+. GWN Mentees are writers, media makers, and leaders, ages 14-24, from across the United States. Through a lens of creativity and activism, mentees produce stories, scripts, podcasts, poems, films, and more with the support of a Mentor and the GWN community. Mentors and Mentees learn side by side. They also gain access to job/internship and writing/publishing opportunities, as well as professional development.  

GWN is currently accepting Mentor and Mentee applications  for our Fall Journeys, which run November 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026. Apply by August 31 to get paired and join an amazing group of people passionate about creativity! All required programming is in Eastern Standard Time and is virtual with optional NYC in-person and hybrid events.
