Studio Jib Camera & SteadiCam Operator

Essential Functions 

• Experience/expertise with either Steadi Camera operation or Jib Camera operation 
• Offer technical and creative solutions to provide visual quality for air 
• Build, test and prepare cameras for air 
• Experience/expertise with multiple types of studio cameras/formats, including Jib or Steadi Cameras, Studio Pedestal and Handheld Camera operation 
• Operate per Director/Technical Director's instructions 
• Expertise operating for multiple program show formats and styles 
• Extensive experience with Sony Professional HD Cameras 
• Experience in a live studio environment.
• Ability to think quickly, communicate well and keep pace with fast moving productions
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle pressure in an on-air environment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Responsible for compliance with all applicable company policies 

Qualifications

• Experience in a live studio environment.
• Must be available for all shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays

• Must be willing to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift as needed 
• Must be willing to work in New York City 
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US 
• Must be 18 years or older
