Associate Data Analyst
Disney Direct to Consumer
Job Summary:
Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer Data team is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Product & Tech Analytics group. This role is a unique entry point into the world of Ad Experimentation, sitting at the intersection of premium content and a high-scale revenue engine.
We are looking for a motivated analyst who is ready to move beyond basic reporting and start driving business value. While this is an operationally fast-paced area, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides the mentorship and technical support needed to succeed. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who brings a fresh perspective to data, enjoys solving puzzles, and is eager to take ownership of their professional growth within a world-class analytics organization.
What You Will Do
- Support the Ads Roadmap: Work with a manager and other analysts to design and analyze A/B tests that balance the user experience with key revenue goals.
- Partner with Ads product teams to shape meaningful questions, define success metrics, and guide decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle, from early ideation to post-launch evaluation.
- Be a Process Thinker: We value fresh eyes. As you learn our workflows, you’ll be encouraged to suggest more efficient ways to organize data or deliver insights.
- Collaborative Partnering: Act as a data resource for our Ads Product teams. You’ll participate in cross-functional meetings, learning how to navigate shifting requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Insight Discovery: Use SQL and Python to explore user behavior. You’ll move beyond "what happened" to help the team understand "why it happened."
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that resonate with a wide range of audiences, from technical stakeholders to executive leadership, helping to drive alignment and action.
Basic Qualifications
- Curiosity, analytical skills, and a drive for insights that impact business outcomes
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying and analysis

- Experience with A/B testing methodologies for digital products
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Sense of humor
- Unique passions or areas of interest that influence the way you interact with others and/or do your job
