Overview and Responsibilities:
- Support the Independents HoldCo – East & West Coast business, collaborating with designated sales teams to drive strategy, execution, and client success across both regions.
- Partner with sales to build client relationships, while also helping the team upsell & renew business across both Broadcast and Cable properties
- Ensure continuity and success across pre-and post-sale activities - own the entire deal flow & manage its success
- Work closely with Pricing & Inventory/Planning/Yield teams to build media plans for Upfront & Scatter deals across linear platforms
- Manage a team of Sales Associates, assisting them with pre and post-sale processes
- Manage sponsorship opportunities within the internal system from start to finish
- Join and participate on sales calls with Account Executives (in-person and virtually)
- Work with Marketing, Research, and Promotion Departments to develop tailored sales presentations
- Work closely with convergent teams to expand business across all platforms
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of either advertising sales experience (preferably linear) or TV buying/media planning experience at an agency
Additional Qualifications:
- A strong desire to win and grow as a Linear Ad Sales professional; thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Strong written communication skills and ability to think creatively
- Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment
- Must be extremely organized, detailed, and accurate with exceptional foresight
- A dedicated and driven work ethic
You might also have:
- BS/BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Experience working with Phoenix, Salestrack, WideOrbit, FreeWheel, Salesforce, and/or Operative
