Girls Write Now
Girls Write Now is a nationally award-winning writing and mentoring nonprofit, media incubator, and multi-generational community of writers and leaders. We harness the power of stories to shape culture, impact industries, and bridge divides. Be a part of the action by becoming a Mentor and/or by spreading the word to your friends, family, and colleagues. Mentors are professionals (do not have to be a published author) residing in the US, ages 25+, and Mentees are ages 14-24, residing in the US. If you do not reside in the US, please consider becoming a member so you can access events and opportunities.
As a Mentee or Mentor, you'll find inspiration in forming a supportive relationship with your match, and enjoy other benefits such as:
- Networking with Girls Write Now’s talented, multigenerational community
- Connecting with peers in unique community experiences

GWN has a fall, spring, and summer cycle. If you're not able to mentor, or be mentored this spring, you can easily set up a member account https://girlswritenow.org/membership/ and be notified when enrollment opens for future cycles: March 15 for the Summer Cycle (July-September), July 15 for the Fall Cycle (November-January), and November 15 for the Spring Cycle (March - May).
