About Your Host

Roadmap Writers is a screenwriting education and training platform for writers looking for a guided path to success. Our programs are hosted by working industry executives and are designed to empower writers with actionable tools and insights to elevate your craft and cultivate relationships with industry professionals. Since 2016, we have helped more than 150 writers sign to representation and countless others get staffed, optioned, or sell their script.

Janet Jeffries has worked for over a decade with film and television producers Lawrence Bender and Kevin Brown. We focus on independent feature films developed within the company that we package and go out to secure financing and studio distribution. Some of the films produced are Greta, Hacksaw Ridge, Silence, Trumbo, and Inglorious Bastards. We are in prep on a period western feature film called The Harder They Fall that Netflix is financing and will distribute. In television, we gravitate toward limited or mini-series and 1-hour formats for premium cable and streaming services. Television series produced include Seven Seconds, Flesh and Bone and currently the CW series Roswell, New Mexico.

Audrey Knox is currently a manager at the Cartel, a management and production company with clients who have written on shows including Lucifer, Happy!, Black Lightning, and Grown-ish, where she worked her way up from Receptionist to Executive Assistant to Coordinator to Manager. She has experience in both scripted and unscripted television, on set, in production, and in writers’ rooms, and she has a BFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.

Joey Tuccio started in the industry at Bold Films (Drive, Nightcrawler, Whiplash) developing the VP of Development and the President. To date, Joey has helped over 300+ writers get signed, optioned and produced. The only thing Joey is more passionate about than helping writers is rescuing dogs.
