Ask Me Anything with Line Producer Leah Harper

Interested in line producing for TV? Line producers manage the fast-paced daily operations and fluctuating expenses of film and TV productions, acting as key decision-makers for each day’s shoot. NYWIFT is excited to bring Leah Harper, an Emmy Award-winning line producer, to our Ask Me Anything series.

NYWIFT Member Screening: Sister Italy
Tuesday, Jan. 28, 7 pm
Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue)
Sister Italy is a heartfelt culinary comedy that follows the fortunes of two Italian-American sisters who are rival cooks. The screening will be followed by networking at a nearby bar. NYWIFT member Emelise Aleandri starred in this film and will be available for Q&A immediately following the screening, along with others from the project.

Anatomy of a Successful Web Series 
Wednesday, Jan. 29, 6:30 pm

In this two-hour workshop, led by multiplatform screenwriter/producer Jorge Rivera, you’ll learn proven strategies to develop, write, and market a successful web series that cuts through the noise and stands out among all the rest. And turn a profit in the process.
