TV Not To Miss: ‘Orphan Black’

image

BBC America’s science-fiction series Orphan Black is coming back on April 19. If you haven’t had a chance to catch the first season, check it out on demand or on iTunes or Amazon. And if you’re already a fan, BBC America has just released season two’s teaser trailer.

Orphan Black stars Tatiana Maslany as Sarah, Cosima, and Alison, among others characters, who discover they are part of a scientific experiment. Maslany gives nuance and character to all of her roles within the serie and it’s astounding how well she pulls off various accents and personality quirks. She was nominated for a 2014 Golden Globe (Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama) for her work in the show.

Orphan Black is a well-written sci-fi show destined to be added to the canon along with Battlestar Galactica. Check it out on BBC America
