Creating a Social Media Plan That Rocks

Do you really need to be on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and dozens of other social networking platforms? The growing social media landscape can be overwhelming, even to seasoned social networkers. This practical seminar will help you focus on how to use it most efficiently and effectively to achieve your objectives.

The session will share best practices in social networking. And it will help you identify realistic goals and develop a plan to achieve them. The workshop is geared to serious social media mavens as well as newbies looking to expand their reach.

It will be led by Laura Wagner, the founder of Bay Bridge Productions, a company that specializes in production and social media marketing for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, films and artists.  Bay Bridge Productions has a client list that includes John Leguizamo, Safety Not Guaranteed, Stick Fly, A Bronx Tale, Irena's Vow, Grey Gardens the musical, and many others.

Be sure to bring your own laptop or mobile device and we'll get to work.

Jenny Gomez has been using social media to bolster her clients' brands for close to four years. Before that, she was a theater professional for nearly a decade.  She is currently the Social Media Manager at the Times Square Alliance, which works to improve and promote Times Square - cultivating the creativity, energy and edge that have made the area an icon of entertainment, culture and urban life for over a century.

Laura Vogel works primarily as a social media marketing and public relations strategist at Bay Bridge Productions. She is also a lawyer, photographer, writer and merchandising specialist.

Laura Wagner is the founder of Bay Bridge Productions, which produces independent theatre and film projects and creates websites, video content and social media campaigns for films, artists and theatrical productions. She produced the feature film It Felt Like Love, which premiered at Sundance in 2013, and Memorial Day, which premiered the CineVegas Film Festival and at the IFC Center. She was also Associate Producer of the film Pulse: A Stomp Odyssey, and she  co-directed the documentary Skunked, which is currently screening at film festivals.
