Barbara Kopple's latest documentary, Running from Crazy explores the life and complex family history of actress Mariel Hemingway, granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, who strives for a greater understanding of her family history of suicide and mental illness. As tragedies are explored and deeply hidden secrets are revealed, Mariel searches for a way to overcome a similar fate.

The film is opening on November 1st at the Angelika Film Center in New York City, November 8th at the Laemmles Pasadena Playhouse 7 and The Sundance Sunset Cinemas in Los Angeles, and November 15th at the Amc River East 21 in Chicago.

Emmanuel Itier's  documentary Femme: Women Healing the World is a celebration of women around the world who are actively transforming our global society. For details click  HERE.
