This screening series celebrates the work of emerging female filmmakers
from all over the world. Films that are included in the series must be
directed, co-directed, produced, written, edited or shot by women.
Whenever possible, the filmmakers are present for discussion and
socializing after their works are presented. There will be a Q&A following the screening, and an after-party to follow, with Cash Bar and complimentary food @:
Dempsey's Pub, 61 2nd Avenue, between 3rd and 4th Streets.
This month's series of shorts is entitled: Women in the Reel World: Sarcasm, Sycophancy, A Dead Aim and Other Useful Tools For Coping With The Everyday.

Rabbis) declares they cannot convert Alistair because he has not found

1955, and artificial flavors, TV dinners and space-age foods are all the
rage. The International Foods and Flavors Company has just hired its
first woman flavorist, Dr. Elizabeth McCovovich. Elizabeth's dream is
to work in the lab with her idol, resident big man flavorist Dr. John
Comden, but she soon discovers that Dr. Comden would rather her be a
secretary than a scientist. Determined to prove herself as a flavorist,
Elizabeth must beat out her boss and everyone else to create a new
formula for Red Ace Cola, the "cola of the future."
