Member Profile: Elisa Pugliese
Elisa Pugliese
is the Owner and Managing Partner of 98 Films in New York City. She recently Produced
AUGUST
with Josh Hartnett, Rip Torn and David Bowie, that opens in limited release on July 11th, at the Village East in New York City. She Executive Produced Nanette Burstein's award winning
AMERICAN TEEN.
NYWIFT will hold a special screening of the film on June 25th.

The film will open in wide release on July 25th.
Both
AUGUST
and
AMERICAN TEEN
premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
She also developed and produced Mary Stuart Materson's directorial debut,
THE CAKE EATERS
with Kristen Stewart, Aaron Stanford and Bruce Dern, which will screen as part of the CineWomenNY/NYWIFT Screening Series on June 24th, at the Two Boots/Pioneer Theatre.

In addition, she is an Executive Producer on Chai Vaserhelyi's,
I BRING WHAT I LOVE: THE STORY of YOUSSOU N'DOUR
(currently in post-production).
Before she made her move to film production she was an actress with extensive experience in New York City theater with companies such as Naked Angels, Malaparte, and The Atlantic, and in television and film appearing in
LAW and ORDER, OZ, SCHOOL of ROCK
, and
KINSEY.
She has served on benefit committees for New York Women in Film and Television, amFAR, and Spirituality for Kids.
