Imani Garner is Administrator for the EVP, General Counsel and Secretary of Viacom, which overseas Viacom_x0019_s global legal functions including the strategic direction of its content properties. She coordinates with Viacom_x0019_s music, media and licensing teams which administers music clearance needs across all networks, linear and digital.

During Imani_x0019_s tenure with Viacom, she_x0019_s sat on various committees including EPIX_x0019_s script review team for Original Programming and its Diversity Committee.

Prior to Viacom, she_x0019_s worked in various capacities within the recording industry including in radio research, marketing research, A&R Administration and legal administration.

She holds a B.M in Music Business from New York University with graduate studies abroad in Cuba and South Africa where she studied its arts and culture industries and dramatic writing though Tisch School of the Arts. She is the former President of the Music Business Association@NYU.
