In 2017, after writing, producing and starring in her award winning short film, Like Me, Amanda Bear launched her production company, Slater Pictures. She went on to make her directorial debut in 2018 with Bumbld, a comedy series about online dating. Bumbld has over 1million views on YouTube, has been featured in Marie Claire's article '10 Best Web Series of All Time' and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

Bear's past works afforded her multiple nominations and awards in the categories of Best Actress, Best Short, Best Screenplay and in 2019, she was awarded Westfield International Film Festival s Rising Star. Amanda is currently in pre-production with Bumbld Season 3, a pilot and a dramatic short.
