Mary Recine has earned an Emmy Award and three Peabody Awards for her work. Her films have premiered at Sundance, New York, Berlin, and Full Frame festivals, aired on PBS, HBO and Netflix. She recently produced Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold, a Netflix Original, served as Executive Producer on Atomic Homefront, and is currently producing Earth Camp One directed by Jennie Livingston and LIFT with director David Petersen. Working with Liz Garbus, Mary field produced Nothing Left Unsaid for HBO and archival produced the 2016 Academy Award nominated What Happened, Miss Simone. For many years, Mary produced films for the historical filmmaker Ric Burns and headed his production company. Earlier in her career she produced and programmed award-winning series for PBS including City Arts, City Life and Egg.
