Dolores Diaz is a filmmaker, lifelong theater kid turned media nerd, and co-founder of Mulberry Queens Films, where she turns wild ideas into bold, genre-bending films. She first hit the stage at nine with a touring dance and theater company, later joining the all-female collective Angry Jellow Bubbles, performing in NYC, LA, Montreal, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
With a master’s in Media and Social Change (plus serious street cred assisting media guru Douglas Rushkoff), Dolores brings brains, edge, and heart to every project. Offscreen, she’s the Chairman of the Board at Once Upon a Time, the arts school that launched her creative fire, and President of NICA NY, helping get more kids on bikes and into the wild.
Her happy place? Somewhere between the bizarre, the theatrical, and the monsters hiding in plain sight.
