Full Bio
Christy is a documentary film & unscripted television editor who has been working in the field for over 10 years on a variety of projects, from long-form documentary to news reportage to promos and unscripted verite. her clients include Netflix, PBS, Amazon, Starz, MSNBC Films, CNN, Discovery, The History Channel, Animal Planet, The Weather Channel, Nat Geo Wild, CMT and independent film producers.

She has a fine arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design, where she majored in Photography but ended up working primarily in video. This leads her to approach editing first and foremost from a visually creative standpoint. She also has a background in dance which has left her with a great ear for music and sense of rhythm. She is a very flexible editor, able to work entirely independently or in collaboration with a producer. Her strengths are story and substance, and creating a seamless arc from the often chaotic and unpredictable footage that comes back from the field.
