Marta N. Bautis

Full Bio
Marta Noemi Bautis, director of Tiempo Azul Productions, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has travelled throughout Latin America as a photojournalist. Her social documentaries tell stories of struggle and hope, and they have been screened at numerous international festivals, among them the New Latin American Cinema Festival, in Havana, Cuba, the Latino Film Festival of Sydney, in Australia, and the Latino Film Festival of San Diego, in California. Since 1999, Ms. Bautis is a faculty member of the School of Contemporary Arts, Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she teaches various film-related courses, including Directing the Documentary, Latino Images and the Hollywood Paradigm and The Social Documentary and Human Rights Issues.
