Jane Applegate is an experienced, versatile producer of independent films, events and marketing videos. In recent years, she's focused production consulting and talent management. Jane teaches the business of film at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. She is an active member of NYWIFT and serves on the board of the Women Independent Producers. She is producing a hybrid documentary about the four women who supported James Joyce so he could write. Applegate has produced several shorts and three independent films. Beauty Mark, written and directed by Harris Doran, The Hanji Box, written and directed by Nora Jacobson, is available on Amazon Prime. To Keep the Light, a historic drama, written and directed by Erica Fae, has screened at nearly two dozen film festivals around the world and is now available online. Her short film, 'i'm jacinth' screened at film festivals around the country.
