Carmia Marshall graduated cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. Her love for fashion and storytelling led her to a diverse career in entertainment. She noticed that many people specialized in one area of fashion or costume design. Not wanting to be boxed in one area, she explored various apparel based career options fearlessly. Some advised her to choose an area of focus to avoid looking overly ambitious and indecisive. Carmia instead went with her heart and followed all fashion careers that piqued her interests. As a result, she holds successful positions in myriad sectors such as costuming, styling, personal shopping, fashion design and writing.
