Laura Kelber has a B.A. (philosophy) from Yale and an MPH (toxicology) from Columbia University. She worked for nearly two decades as a union electrician in the NYC construction industry, co-chairing a women's activist group in her male-dominated local. She later worked as a forensic chemist in the toxicology laboratory at the NYC OCME, before deciding to devote herself to her passion: screenwriting.
