Alex Spott is a screenwriter, director, and creative director based in Brooklyn, NY. She has created campaigns and digital experiences for brands like Target, Google, Instagram, and Airbnb earning her a spot on Business Insiders ‘30 Most Creative People in Advertising under 30’ list. She recently finished writing, And if I die, her first feature about grief (as told through a suicidal zombie). No Other Gods But Me (2021), her first short film was selected for 17 festivals and won 10 awards.

Diane Martel, music video director and previously Miley Cyrus’ creative director, once said, “You can tell Alex is the smartest girl in the room – her mind never shuts off, it’s both frightening and awe-inspiring.”

Alex spent her childhood writing plays and shooting movies with the kids in her neighborhood. She spends her adulthood crying often, hanging in nature, writing, going upstate, bending neon, and killing lanternflies.
