Erin Day is the New York Television Festival's (NYTVF) Festival Director where she has played a key role in advancing the organization's approach to television content development in the independent marketplace since its launch in 2005. Since being named Festival Director in 2011, Day has guided the creation and launch of development initiatives with a number of key partners including FOX, NBC, Comedy Central, A E, History, Samsung and Lionsgate, as well as the facilitation of guaranteed development deals from dozens of networks, studios, production companies, and digital distributors. Additionally, Day manages the organization's partnership strategy and activations, overseeing the sponsor benefits program for over fifty annual partners as well as the crafting and execution of the Festival's communication strategy. During the annual Festival each fall, she is the lead producer on all Festival special events, including NYTVF Primetime screenings and red carpets and the Festival's Creative Keynote series.
