Full Bio
Lori Cheatle is a producer of over 25 award-winning films and the founder of Hard Working Movies a director-driven production company with an appetite for bold, high-profile narratives, with films as unique and diverse as the filmmakers behind them. The films she has produced have screened at all the top international film festivals, in cinemas and on TV and platforms around the world.

She has given talks or participated on industry panels for Sundance, SXSW, Berlin Film Festival, NYWIFT, Women In Film L.A., Independent Feature Market, Toronto Film Festival, DOC NYC, Full Frame, Hot Docs, the Whitney Museum, the New York Historical Society, MoMA among others. For five years she was a Lab Leader/producer for the IFP Documentary Film Labs and for the 2014 Dok Incubator Labs in the Czech Republic. Lori teaches a Masters Class in Producing in the Documentary Film Division of the School of Visual Arts.
