Zuzy Martin-Aly is an award-winning Latinx-American filmmaker, writer, and producer. As Co-founder of VERV | Start-up Cuba, her work is rooted in sharing stories and elevating voices from within diverse communities across the Americas. As a freelancer, Zuzy’s docu-style work aims to bring out the beauty and complexity in our shared human experience. Recent work includes directing and producing the award-winning documentary, Craving Cuba, hosting and producing two seasons of The Girls in Tech Podcast and traveling deep into the Ecuadorian Rainforest with the VERV crew to share critical details about deforestation and the importance of creating communities that can, alternatively, thrive in sustainable ways.
