Full Bio
Kai Helenius is an award-winning indie director and screenwriter based in New York. After graduating from Stony Brook University College of Arts and Sciences, he’s carved out a niche making character-driven narratives that capture, and stress, the human spirit. His latest short film, “I Wish My Bones Were Unidentifiable,” premiered at the Long Island International Film Expo and won Best Actor. It’s since played at both domestic and international festivals, including, NYFF, LIYFF, and TAFF.
