ASSISTANT EDITOR / POST PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (INTERN)

Maxi Cohen Studio

We would like to work with bright interns looking to take the next step up in their film careers and take on more responsibility. This person must be organized, with the ability to capture footage, log, edit, research and transcribe, and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Knowledge of graphics, motion and special effects is a plus, but not necessary. Your creative input is always sought and valued.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Premiere
  • Competency in AfterEffects
  • Sound knowledge of post production processes and workflow

Good to have:

  • Familiarity with film budgeting, with a particular focus on post production budgets
  • Portuguese and Spanish language skills a plus!

The main project you will work on is Ayahuasca Diaries, an essay-style feature-length documentary that aims to inspire audiences to what is humanly possible, makes evident the science and reveals how the ancient brew impacts world culture in transformative ways.
