4th Row Films

4th Row Films is looking for bright, ambitious, and creative college students and recent graduates to join our internship program. We are an independent film production company working on a wide array of projects, from feature-length documentary films to television series, branded films, and commercials. The 4th Row Films Internship Program is a unique opportunity to gain solid professional experience in a busy and successful production office. We are on the lookout for talented individuals to participate in development, production, post-production, and marketing.

Our interns are given the opportunity to work independently and think creatively. You’ll work on active projects, learn the everyday pressures and deadlines of the entertainment industry firsthand, and contribute meaningfully to projects. Interns are expected to problem-solve, think analytically, and work both independently and collaboratively with producers. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.

Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting projects from development through production. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, developing pitch materials, corresponding with clients and industry contacts, logging and capturing footage, providing administrative support including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, assisting with shoots, and much more.

Past interns have come from schools including Yale, Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Vassar, Wesleyan, SCAD, and Penn State, and have gone on to careers at MTV, CAA, William Morris Endeavor, Sundance Channel, Sony Television, A&E Indiefilms, and other film and TV productions. Many former interns return as freelance production assistants, applying the skills they gained during their internship.

This position is unpaid, and at this time there is no stipend for travel or food expenses.
