Pitch to Screen

Pitch to Screen project started in October 2017 to help storytellers produce quality narrative content and showcase their talent and skills to a global audience without the need to have a budget, experience or industry credit. Pitch to Screen has a unique approach, it engages our award-winning filmmakers in teaching master workshops and producing narrative content, this helps new talent get the skills they need at our workshops and generates quality narrative content worth of screening and distribution.
Pitch to Screen helps filmmakers in three ways. Production services to bring their movie concepts and scripts to life from start to finish and promote them on social media. Workshops to train participants on tools and techniques they need to create quality content and also to get jobs through our job listing and network. Film Festival to showcase the best in world cinema and recognize outstanding independent filmmakers and connect them with the industry.
We even have a bigger goal for Pitch to Screen in the next 5 years. We want to become a collaborative coworking facility that offers production services, classes and screening events throughout the year in addition to the ‘ Pitch Cafe ’ that helps storytellers pitch their concepts and win industry offers and grants. We want the space to be an end to end solution for filmmakers who have amazing concepts but can’t get them off the ground because of funding issues and lack of industry credit and recognition. We have several services we want to offer such as the Creator Lab : to motivate storytellers to come up with new filmmaking and acting techniques and theories. Film Market : to promote filmmakers shorts and features and get them industry deals. An iPhone Pitch App to help filmmakers visualize their concepts and create a proof and posted online for free.
We want to be able to keep Pitch to Screen growing this year and next by offering more workshops, produce content and offer an outstanding festival event. Without funding we really can’t move forward or offer any services to filmmakers who really need help transitioning their scripts from paper to screen and getting recognized for their commitment and hard work.
