Ellie started her career 5 years ago in arthouse film distribution and international sales in Montreal, New York and Paris after completing a Bachelor Degree in Business at HEC Montreal and a Master's Degree in Entertainment Business at La Sorbonne Paris.
In 2017, Ellie moved to Toronto to work at TIFF before joining the film department of Entertainment One. She worked under the President of Film and Vice President of Theatrical Marketing, and supported numereous film markets with acquisitions and festival bookings. She later joined an independent production company in Toronto to work on all aspects of film production, from development to business affairs.
Her experience and education in the independent film market in Europe and studio world in North America gives Ellie a unique perspective on the industry. She is a visionary entrepreneur and producer driven by authentic storytelling, elevated films and television series. At the core of her vision, she believes stories written by women are universal which is why she created her own venture Women Scripted. to support the development of women writers in film & TV globally.
