Fredgy Noýl is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in Manhattan. She made her directorial film debut with the award-winning short film Milking It (2014), which is currently being developed into a feature length film. Since its New York City premiere, the film has screened in multiple festivals across the US and garnered a Worldfest Houston Gold Remi Award for Best Original Comedy. Her follow-up project, the feature documentary film Seven Days In New York has screened at the Queens Museum and was in competition for the Dziga Vertov Award for Best Documentary Feature at Blow-Up Arthouse International Film Festival. She is currently in pre-production for a short film titled Insomniac. Her films focus on quirky female leads with complicated identities. Noýl makes films to help people feel less alone in the world. In order to do this she thinks it s important to cross cultural lines and tell inclusive stories. She is inspired by French New Wave artists such as Jean Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut who skillfully captured and translated the nuances of life onto film. And Chantal Akerman who captured the artistic quality of the human condition.

Noýl is a writer, director, producer, and editor of multi-platform campaigns, digital series, television promos, integrated marketing spots, PSAs, and other forms of short content. Her work has been featured on MTV, VH1, Spotify, Nickelodeon, BET, and FUSE TV, The United Nations, Billboard.com, among other platforms. She has over 10 years of experience working in film and television with artists such as Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monaý, Haim, Lorde, among others. She's received honors from Nike, The Jackie Robinson Foundation, Pepsi, and was featured in The Limited's Leading Looks Like campaign.
