Full Bio
A classically trained violinist with a master_x0019_s degree in ethnomusicology, Laura

Fielder channeled her creative energies into filmmaking. This was after a long

creative hiatus in which she married and started a family. During her absence from

the arts, Laura focused her energies on her raising her three beautiful daughters and

teaching for the New York City Public School System.

daughters and support her family --this time as head of household. Inheriting her

mother_x0019_s autodidactic genes, Laura studied all she could about the art and craft of

filmmaking. Laura has been a part of the NYC independent filmmaking community

for the past eight years.
