BIO
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York as a first generation American, Flor Tejada is a graduate of the undergraduate film and television program at NYU Tisch School the Arts. Upon graduating in 2011, Flor began work at A E Networks as an Assistant Editor for A E, History Channel, Lifetime and the Biography Channel.

In late 2012, Flor decided to pursue her passion for producing, writing and directing, so along with her creative partner Amanda Sabater, NextRound Productions was founded. NextRound has produced various online branded content, promotional videos, web- series, documentaries and most recently, an online talk show for the Design Network.

Flor has worked independently as a freelance producer and production manager for the 2014 start up, Unique Board, where her videos gained them a feature in the New York Times. Flor has interned for various companies while a student at NYU, including Sundance Channel, MTV Networks, CBS, NFL Films, HBO and Clinica Estetico. It was there when Flor reviewed her first television pilot, a script by Susanna Grant. Her notes on the script and honest perspective ended up in the hands of her boss. A few weeks later, the agreement for Jonathan Demme to direct the pilot for 'A Gift Man' for CBS was made.

Flor has worked independently as a producer having successfully produced numerous short films that have screened at the LA Comedy Film Festival and several LGBT film festivals in 2013.

Flor successfully debuted her company s first original web-series in June 2014. After being in production and post for an entire year, the company s documentary web-series called Living the Dream to a packed screening in New York City. The series follows the story of young trailblazers in New York City who refuse to give up on their passions in art and entrepreneurship despite what society the odds.
