Lena Rudnick is a recent graduate of the Columbia University M.F.A. film program. Her passion is telling fantastically real and hysterically dysfunctional relationship stories and investigating her own struggles with self, society and the cosmos. Her voice is in her self-deprecating sarcasm and the mixture of comedy and pathos she infuses into her vision. She likes wearing t-shirts in glamorous places and her spirit animal is a Buffalo though the Shaman explanation of why was unconvincing. Her feature screenplay Lil Surfer Girl won her Faculty Script Selects and her short narrative work has been shown at Lincoln Center, Miami IFF, NY International Latino FF, and St. Tropez IFF. Her videos in collaboration with National Sawdust appeared on platforms such as UNWomen and the Bono ONE Campaign. She likes to write and direct stories that simultaneously makes people laugh and further collective consciousness and along the way she requires amazing adventures.
