Full Bio
Catherine Orchard is a director and photographer based in New York City. She believes the most successful work comes from careful listening and planning in combination with an openness to serendipitous discovery along the way. Her background in brand and editorial work helped develop an eye for strong imagery with wit and lyricism. While studying Media, Society, and the Arts at SUNY Purchase she worked as an intern and production assistant on documentary films with PBS and Frontline. This experience developed an early interest in interdisciplinary storytelling and examining the world around us. She is currently working on a documentary about wild mustang horses.
