This year's honorees were: Hope Hanafin Costume Designer Hope Hanafin has designed costumes for numerous television movies, including Lackawanna Blues (2005), Normal (2003), A Lesson Before Dying (1999) and Geppetto (2000) —for which she won the Costume Designers Guild Award for Excellence for Costume Design for Television - Period/Fantasy and was nominated for an Emmy®. Her film work includes Because of Winn Dixie (2005), Kazaam (1996), House Arrest (1996) and After Dark, My Sweet (1990). Cynthia Nixon presented her award. Julie Weiss Costume Designer Julie Weiss is an award-winning costume designer, widely recognized for her film work including The Missing (2003), The Ring (2002), Frida (2002), American Beauty (1999) and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Her honors include two Academy Award® nominations and a costume Designer's Guild Award for American Beauty. She has also won two Emmys.® Stockard Channing presented her award. Carla White Make-up Artist Carla White has established herself as one of Hollywood's premiere make-up artists working with actors Hugh Grant, John Cusack and Ben Stiller, to name a few. Her credits include Warm Springs (2005), Kinsey (2004), Two Weeks Notice (2002), Serendipity (2001), Kate and Leopold (2001) and Meet the Parents (2000). S. Epatha Merkerson presented her award.
