Call for Submissions: Scene Brooklyn: Independent Film & Media Arts

Scene: Brooklyn: Independent Film and Media Arts, presented by Brooklyn Arts Council, seeks all feature length and short narrative, documentary and experimental film and video work shot in the borough of Brooklyn, relating to the experience of life in Brooklyn, or films that have been created entirely or partially by Brooklyn-based artists.
This year, BAC will be dedicating the series to the anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and will be giving preference to films with relevant themes that may include but are not limited to the storm's destruction, the rebuilding and the resilience of our people, direct responses to Sandy, films inspired by Sandy, community responses to the storm, climate change, waterfront development, disaster relief and issues of equity and the role of Government as it relates to natural disasters like Superstorm Sandy.
