Preparing for the Audio Mix - Sold Out!
Event: Thursday Apr. 13, 2017

Preparing for the audio mix begins on your first production planning day: “What is the optimal way to capture the sound?” Moving forward, “How should I organize my audio elements for the picture edit?” Next, “What’s the best approach for adding my music and sound design elements?” Then, “If my deliverables include stereo and 5.1 formats, how should I prepare?” Of course, “How much is all of this going to cost?” Along with, “How long will the mix take?” And, “Why not just mix this in my own Premier (or Avid or FC) system?” Finally, “What are the likely deliverables?” And, “Who handles the technical aspects?”

You are invited to join Matt Kaplowitz, veteran sound designer and mixer, for Preparing for the Audio Mix, a two hour intensive in-studio workshop that will tackle all of these issues and more.

Registration is limited to 10.

For more than 25 years, Matt Kaplowitz has served as a sound mixer, music producer, sound designer, composer, and educator for feature and documentary films, TV long-form programming, ads and promos, and a myriad of social media. He is the Founder and President of Onomatopoeia.
