In this two-part series, veteran independent film producer Richard Guay will take you through the scheduling and budgeting process using
Movie Magic software
:
Scheduling Workshop (Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, 6:30 pm) will include breaking down a script, using the software for scenario planning, tracking scheduling conflicts, and communicating your plans to your crew.
Budgeting Workshop (Monday, Nov. 19, 6:30 pm) will cover creating flexible budgets that can be used for comparative analysis, the proper way to budget for labor and the best way to structure your budget to track tax incentives.
Both classes will include Movie Magic tips and tricks to assist you in the crucial process of scheduling and budgeting your film!
