Melissa Silverstein is the producer of Women & Hollywood. Women & Hollywood is a respected blog/website that focuses on women's films and filmmakers, is taking the initiative and not only creating a public conversation about the women's market, but will launch several programs that will bring women (and men) together to continue to build our economic power at the box office. The first program Women & Hollywood Film Club, goal is to leverage women's box office dollars. Second program Creating a Public Conversation—Reframing the Narrative how to help shape our cultural conversations and the third program Marketing Films to Women will explore how to develop ways to reach women to attend films on opening weekend, but also to make Hollywood understand the benefits of embracing the women's market.
