In April's show, producer Vanessa Córdova-Corwin emerges from the control room to celebrate
herFlix
's one-year anniversary on the air. The show will continue to bring you movie reviews and interviews, always from a woman's point of view.
In partnership with NYWIFT, WAM and SAG, HerFlix commemorated SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now) with a screening of the documentary
Miss Representation
. The trailer will be shown and excerpts from the exceptional panel. Sandra Guzmán, Carol Jenkins, Alison McDonald, Terrie Williams and moderator Savanna Washington discussed the negative portrayal of women in the media and the inequality of women employed in the entertainment fields. Co-host, blogger and author Elizabeth Kerri Mahon (
Scandalous Women
) presents her roundup of Scandalous Women on Film, and reviews
