School of Visual Arts Dusty Film & Animation Festival

The School of Visual Arts Dusty Film & Animation Festival, celebrating its 23rd year, showcases the work of emerging filmmakers and animators from the film and animation department launching many of them in their professional careers. The festival has garnered industry wide recognition and is considered one of the top student film festivals in the country.

The School of Visual Arts is recognized as one of the finest art schools, both in the United States and internationally, for its innovative curriculum, unparalleled faculty of more than 1000 creative professionals and its participation in the larger arts community of New York City.

Film Screenings*: Sunday, May 6–Tuesday, May 8
Animation Screenings*: Monday, May 7
Awards Ceremony: Wednesday, May 9 at 6:30 pm 

NYWIFT president, Alex Levi, will be presenting the New York Women in Film & Television Award at the Dusty Awards ceremony. RSVP required for the awards ceremony by May 4 to 212-592-2124 or  dustyawards@sva.edu.
