"Crossing Our Borders: is an 86-minute documentary series that features the dramatic stories of people whose lives have been shattered by corruption, crime and impunity in some Latin-American countries. This corruption and impunity has caused massive illegal immigration, human smuggling, and drug trafficking into the U.S. The dramatic stories of these individuals and the analysis of experts about the decline of political, economic and social institutions in these regions will provide a real understanding to the public television audiences in North America, Latin-America and around the world. ‘Crossing Our Borders: is also known under the working title ‘Teatro Vacio: Complacency and Corruption in Latin-America.’
